Cycling in Ruka is possible in summer and winter! Even uphills are fun with an electric-assisted bike. We only rent eFatbike models, which are comfortable and safe to ride in both summer and snowy conditions. About a kilometer from us, Ruka's brand new 12 km multi-purpose trail starts, which you can also ride a fatbike in winter!
Helkama FE12 eFatbike
Electric fat bike Helkama FE12 with Manitou front suspension, Shimano's powerful EP8 motor, a robust 630Wh battery capacity and a stunning DRL daytime light integrated into the frame. The renewed coloring and frame design of the FE12 electric bike combined with one of the most powerful motors on the market makes it an interesting fatbike novelty. The Shimano EP8 drive unit with 85 Nm torque is the heart of the e-fatbike and ensures a smooth and natural riding feel. The motor is one of the lightest (2.6kg) and most efficient drive units in its weight class on the market.
This electric fat bike is powered by a powerful 630Wh Shimano BT-E8036 battery integrated into the frame, which has enough capacity for even longer off-road rides.
